Standing with Cebu Communities as They Rebuild After the Earthquake
In October 2025, the Cebu region of the Philippines was struck by a 6.9-magnitude earthquake, resulting in significant casualties, with more than 70 lives lost and thousands injured. The disaster severely disrupted daily life and placed immense strain on families and local communities.
As part of KN Group, the Philippines business unit launched the “Tulong Para sa Cebu (Help for Cebu)” community donation initiative, providing timely and practical support to families during a period of urgent need.
From October 28 to 29, 2025, donation activities were carried out in partnership with representatives from the Cebu Local Government Unit (LGU) and the Philippine Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). KN Group employees and volunteers participated in the distribution of relief supplies, supporting families and communities to ensure essential assistance reached those in need.
Through this initiative, emergency relief packages, including rice and bottled water, were delivered to households in affected areas. By addressing immediate and essential needs, the effort helped provide stability and reassurance during the recovery.
KN Group remains committed to supporting recovery in the Cebu region, standing alongside communities as they rebuild and move forward.
