Hand in Hand: Emergency Relief and Community Recovery in Chiang Rai Thailand
In September 2024, Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand faced severe flooding following heavy rainfall, with multiple areas affected, infrastructure damaged, and daily life significantly disrupted. As part of KN Group, the Thailand business unit responded promptly, providing emergency relief and post-disaster reconstruction, and contributing THB 1 million toward recovery and rebuilding efforts.
The donation ceremony was held over two days from October 2 to 3, 2024, with the presence of local government representatives. The funds were received by Chiang Rai officials on behalf of the affected communities and allocated to the Phan and Pa Daet district administrations. In coordination with local rescue organizations, including the Sirikorn and Ruam Jai Associations, assistance was delivered across more than 20 villages, helping communities recover from the floods.

Through its employee volunteer program, “Hand in Hand, Overcoming Challenges Together,” KN Group employees actively joined flood-affected communities on the ground, distributing emergency supplies, assisting with rescue operations, and clearing mud and debris from homes, streets, and public spaces. Working side by side with residents and local authorities, their hands-on efforts helped restore sanitation, reopen key pathways, and bring a sense of order back as neighborhoods gradually returned to normal.

KN Group approaches its commitment by turning care into meaningful action where it is needed most. Through community-based initiatives across diverse markets, it continues to strengthen the link between responsible business practices and long-term social value.
